20% Energy cost Increase in Brazil by beginning 2015

The energy situation in Brazil becomes critical because of the intrinsic cost and reduced availability of energy from hydroelectric sources. The scarcity of rainfall in recent years, combined with the political will to maintain and reduce the cost of energy during the World Championships is no longer sustainable, so it seems now decided to increase prices of electric energy by 20% with 2015. This will almost inevitably be a shift in energy policy, so far not much an incentive for renewable energy, particularly solar.
